     Alice de Courtenay was born circa 1160 at Courtenay, France.1 She was the daughter of Peter of France , Prince of France and Elizabeth de Courtenay. Alice de Courtenay was also known as Adelaide.1

Alice de Courtenay married Aymerde Valence , Count of Angoulême, son of William IV Taillefer , Count of Angoulême and Marguerite de Turenne, in April 1186.1,2 Alice de Courtenay died on 14 September 1205.1
