     Anselme Boudrot was born in 1700 at Beaubassin, Acadia, New France.1,2 He was the son of Michel Boudrot and Marie-Magdeleine Cormier. He was listed as an orphan in the Beaubassin Census of 1714 living with Jean Baptiste and Marie (Cormier) Poirier.1

Anselme Boudrot married Marguerite-Marie Gaudet, daughter of Claude Gaudet and Marguerite Blou, circa 1725 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1,2,3,4,5 Anselme and Marguerite-Mariemoved to Restigouche County, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick), in 1755 during the expulsion.1 Anselme Boudrot died on 18 February 1765 at St-Antoine-sur-Richelieu Paroisse, Richelieu, Québec, British North America.1,6
