     Isabella of Aragon was born in 1243 or 1247.1,2 She was the daughter of James I the Conqueror , King of Aragon and Yolande of Hungary , Princess of Hungary.

Isabella of Aragon married Philip III the Bold King of France, age 17 , son of Saint Louis IX , King of France and Margerite of Provence, on 28 May 1262 at Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpe, France. They were married with the permission of Pope Urban IV.2,3,1,4,5 Isabella of Aragon died on 28 January 1271 at Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dôme, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpe, France.1,4,2,5 She was buried at Basilica of Saint-Denis, Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, France.
