Gersinde of Sabran was the daughter of Raimon of Sabran , Count of Forcalquier and Gersinde. Gersinde of Sabran was also known as Gersinda II.1,2 She was the heiress of Provence and Forcalquier.1,2
Gersinde of Sabran married Alfonso of Aragon , Count of Provence, Prince of Aragon, son of Alfonso II , King of Aragon and Sancha of Castile , Princess of Castile and Léon, in 1193.1,2,3 From 1213 to 1217, she was the regent of Provence and Forcalquier.1 Gersinde of Sabran was a nun.1 She died after 1222.1
