     Eirene Komnena was the daughter of Demetrios Tornikes , Logothete of the Dome and sister of Euthymios Malakes.

Eirene Komnena married Isaac II Angelos , Emperor of the East, son of Andronikos Angelos Doukas , Ambassador to Jerusalem and Euphrosyne Kastamonitissa.1 Eirene Komnena died between 1184 and 1185 in a monastery.2,1
