Eudes I Borel ~ Duc de Bourgogne married Sibylle de Bourgogne, daughter of William II the Great ~ Comte de Bourgogne et Mâcon and Stephanie de Longwy, in 1080.1,2 He founded Cîteaux Abbey.1 Eudes I Borel ~ Duc de Bourgogne died on 23 March 1103 at Tarsus, Empire of the East, while on the First Crusade.1,2 He was buried at Cîteaux Abbey, Saint-Nicolas-lès-Cîteaux, Burgundy, France.1
