     Edward the Exile was born in 1016 at Kingdom of Wessex, England.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Edmund Ironside King of England and Ealgyth of Northumbria. Edward the Exile was also known as Edward the Atheling.

Edward the Exile married Agatha von Braunschweig, daughter of Ludwig von Braunschweig , Count in the Derlingau and Gertrude von Egisheim.5,1,3,4 He was exiled to Hungary, where he held lands in Berenger county. Edward the Exile died in 1057 at London, England.5,1,4,6
