     William I de Warenne , Earl of Surrey was born circa 1055 at Bellencombre, Normandy, France.1,2 He was the son of Rudolph de Warenne and Beatrice de Vascoeuil. William I de Warenne's full titles were the Earl of Surrey and the Seigneur de Varennes near Dieppe.1
