Andrew J. Clark

     Andrew J. Clark was born circa 1847 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^1,2,3 He was the son of George W. Clark and Margarette Emmitt. Andrew, age 3, appeared on the US Census of 1850 living at Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, George W. and Margarette Clark.¹ Andrew, age 14, appeared on the US Census of 1860 living at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, George W. and Margarette Clark.⁴ Andrew, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,in the household of his mother, Margarette Clark.⁵

Andrew J. Clark married Margaret Tracy, daughter of Hugh Tracy and Ann Hannon. Andrew and Margaret appeared on the US Census of 1880 on 1917 Cadwell Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.³ According to the Federal Census in 1880, Andrew was a machinist.³ In 1896, the year Andrew died, he lived at 1319 Cadwell Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.² He died on 21 March 1896 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^2,6 Andrew was buried on 24 March 1896 at Mount Peace Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^2,7,6
