Renaud II ~ Comte de Claremont was the son of Hugh de Creil ~ Comte de Clarmont, Seigneur de Creil et Mouchy and Margaret de Roucy.
Renaud II ~ Comte de Claremont married Clemence of Bar-le-Duc, daughter of Renaud I , Count of Bar-le-Duc and Mousson and Gisela de Vaudemont, in 1140.1 In 1152, he took up the cross of a Crusader.1 Renaud II ~ Comte de Claremont died in 1162.1
