     Yolande of Flanders , Countess of Namur was born in 1175.1 She was the daughter of Baldwin V le Courageux , Count of Hainaut and Namur and Marguerite of Lorraine.

Yolande of Flanders , Countess of Namur married Peter II de Courtenay , Latin Emperor of Constantinople, son of Peter of France , Prince of France and Elizabeth de Courtenay, on 1 July 1193 at Soissons, Aisne, Hauts-de-France, France.2 When her twin brother, Philip diedin 1212, she was designated the heiress of Namur.1
