Matilda von Saffenburg was the daughter of Adolph von Saffenburg ~ Count of Saffenberg and Margaret von Schwartzenburg. Maltilda was the heiress of the Lordship of Roda.1
Matilda von Saffenburg married Henry II , Duke of Limburg, Duke of Limburg, and Count of Arlon, son of Waleran III Paganus , Count of Arlon, Wassenburg and Limburg; Duke of Lower Lorraine and Jutta, in 1136.1,2 Matilda von Saffenburg died on 2 January 1145.1
