     Gerberga of Lower Lorraine was born circa 975.1,2 She was the daughter of Charles of Laon , Duke of Lower Lorraine and Bonne d'Ardennes.

Gerberga of Lower Lorraine married Lambert I the Bearded , Count of Louvain and Mons, son of Regnier III Longhals , Count of Hainaut and Adele of Louvain, in 990.1,2,3 Gerberga of Lower Lorraine died after 1017.1,2 She was buried at Collegiate Church of Saint Gertrude, Nivelles, Wallonia, France, now Belgium.1
