     Eustace III ~ Comte de Boulogne et Lens was born circa 1020 at Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.1 He was the son of Eustace II aux Gernons ~ Comte de Boulogne et Lens and Ida of Lorraine.

Eustace III ~ Comte de Boulogne et Lens married Mary ~ Princess of Scotland, daughter of Malcolm III Canmore ~ King of the Scots and Saint Margaret of Scotland, in 1102.1,2,3,4 He went on the First Crusade. In later life he became a monk.1 Eustace III ~ Comte de Boulogne et Lens died after 1125.1

Weis (1976) gives his birth as about 1105.
