     Evangalina Manny was born on 6 January 1868 at Saint-Luc, Québec, Canada.1,2,3 She was christened on 7 January 1868 at Saint-Luc, Québec, Canada, Her baptismal name was Marie Melvina Evageline.4 She was the daughter of Joseph Napoléon Many and Marie-Marguerite Poirier. Evangalina Manny went by the nick-name of Eva. She immigrated in 1881 to the United States.1

Evangalina Manny, age 19, married Joseph Roy, age 23 , son of Joseph Roy and Marie-Adelaide Gagnon, on 27 June 1887 at Cohoes, Albany County, New York.1,5 Eva lived in 1893 at 20 Mansion Street, Glenville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.6 Eva, age 31 years, and Joseph, age 35 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at 20 Mansion Street, Glenville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.1 Eva, age 41 years, and Joseph, age 45 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at 10611 Hampden Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.7 Eva, age 51 years, and Joseph, age 55 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 10622 Hampden Avenue, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.8 Eva, age 61 years, and Joseph, age 65 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 10622 Hampden Avenue, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.9 Eva and Joseph lived in 1935 at Natchez, Adams County, Mississippi.10 Eva, age 71 years, and Joseph, age 75 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 10622 Hampden Avenue, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.11 Evangalina wrote her will on 26 July 1949 at Euclid, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.12 She died on 14 October 1949 at Euclid, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 81.2,3 She was buried on 17 October 1949 at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Height, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.2,3

Compeller's Notes:
Immigration: The 1900 Census states she immigrated in 1881. The 1910 and 1920 Census lists the date as 1880, while the 1940 gives 1875. I have used the 1900 Census, but the date is questionable.
