     Geoffrey II Ferreol Count of the Gâtinais and Château-Landon was born circa 1004.1 He was the son of Geoffrey Ferole Count of the Gâtinais and Château Laudon and Beatrice de Mâcon. Geoffrey II Ferreol Count of the Gâtinais and Château-Landon was also known as Aubri-Geoffrey II de Château-Landon. Geoffrey succeeded his father as the Count of the Gâtinais in 1034.2
