     Lt. Joshua Meriam was born on 21 February 1707/8 at Lexington, Massachusetts.1 He was christened on 22 February 1707/8 at Lexington, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Deacon John Meriam and Mary Cooper.

Lt. Joshua Meriam, age 25, married Susannah Gleason, age 17 , daughter of Lt. Thomas Gleason and Susanna Haven, on 12 November 1733.1,2 Lt. Joshua Meriam died on 7 June 1784 at Oxford, Massachusetts, at age 76.1
