     Susannah Gleason was born on 3 January 1716 at Oxford, Massachusetts.1,2 She was the daughter of Lt. Thomas Gleason and Susanna Haven.

Susannah Gleason, age 17, married Lt. Joshua Meriam, age 25 , son of Deacon John Meriam and Mary Cooper, on 12 November 1733.1,2 Susannah Gleason died on 1 October 1788 at Oxford, Massachusetts, at age 72 in that part of Oxford called the North Gore.1
