     Conan I le Tort ~ Duc de Bretagne et Comte de Rennes was the son of Juhel Berenger ~ Comte de Rennes and Gerberga. Le Tort means "the Crooked.1" Conan became, circa 970, the Duke of Brittany.2

Conan I le Tort ~ Duc de Bretagne et Comte de Rennes married Ermengarde d'Anjou, daughter of Geoffrey I Grisgonelle ~ Comte d'Anjou and Adele of Troyes and Vermandois, in 980.3,2 Conan was killed in battle on 27 June 992 at Conquereuil, Loire-Atlantique, Pays de la Loire, France.3,2,4
