     Mstislav I the Great of Kiev ~ Grand Prince of Kiev was born on 1 June 1076 at Turov, Gomel Region, Belarus.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Vladimir II Monomachus ~ Grand Prince of Kiev and Gytha of Wessex ~ Princess of England. He is figured prominently in the Norse Sagas under the name Harald, to allude to his grandfather, Harold II of England. Mstislav's Christian name was Theodore. He was the last ruler of a united Rus.5 Mstislav was crowned the Grand Prince of Novgorod in 1081.3

Mstislav I the Great of Kiev ~ Grand Prince of Kiev married Christina Ingesdotter ~ Princess of Sweden, daughter of Inge I ~ King of Sweden and Helena, in 1095.3,5 Mstislav was crowned the Grand Prince of Bjelgord in 1117.3 Mstislav was crowned the co-ruler with his father as the Grand Prince of Kiev. in 1117.5

Mstislav I the Great of Kiev ~ Grand Prince of Kiev married Ljubava Saviditsch, daughter of Dmitry Saviditsch ~ Possadnik of Novgorod, in 1122.2,3,5 Mstislav was crowned the Grand Prince of Kiev. in 1125.5 He died on 15 April 1132 at Kiev, Ukraine, at age 55.2,3,4,5

Marriage Date: According to Vasily Tatishchev Mstislav and Christina married in 1095. Polish historian Dariusz Dabrowski stated that Tatischev didn't base his dating on reliable sources. Christina married Mstislav between 1090 and 1096.5
