     Robert Guiscard d'Hauteville ~ Duke of Apulia, Calabria, and Sicily was born in 1015 at Normandy, France.1 He was the son of Tancred d'Hauteville and Fredesende of Normandy. He was the Norman conqueror of Southern Italy.1

Robert Guiscard d'Hauteville ~ Duke of Apulia, Calabria, and Sicily married Albereda in 1054.1

Robert Guiscard d'Hauteville ~ Duke of Apulia, Calabria, and Sicily married Sikelgaita, daughter of Guaimar IV ~ Prince of Salerno, Capua, Amalfi, Calabria, and Apulia and Porpora of Tabellaria, between 1058 and 1059.1 Robert Guiscard d'Hauteville ~ Duke of Apulia, Calabria, and Sicily died on 17 July 1085 at Cephalonia Island, Greece.1

Compeller's Notes:
Stuart (2002) states he was a leader of the 1st Crusade, and was caputured at Antioch. He also gives his death date as 17 July 1085. The 1st Crusade was from 15 august 1096 to 12 august 1099. The dates do not match.
