Ernst the Bold ~ Margrave of Austria was born between 1020 and 1027.1 He was the son of Adelbert the Victorious ~ Margrave of Austria and Couont in the Schweinachgau and Adelaide.
Ernst the Bold ~ Margrave of Austria married Adelaide von Eilenbur, daughter of Dedi II , Margrave of Ostmark, Count of Eilenburg and of Lausnitz and Oda von der Ostmark, circa 1054.1 Ernst was slain on 9 June 1075 at Homburg, Saarland, Germany.1 He was buried at Melk, Lower Austria, Austria.1
