Gilbert II ~ Vicomte de Carlat was the son of Gilbert I ~ Vicomte de Carlat and Agnes of Mels.
Gilbert II ~ Vicomte de Carlat married Nobilia, daughter of Odo ~ Vicomte de Lodeve and Chimberge, circa 1020.1 In October 1048, he and his wife gave the manse of Serq to St-Guillem-de-Desert in the Diocese of Lodeve.1 Gilbert II ~ Vicomte de Carlat died before 1071.1
