     Henry I the Fowler ~ Holy Roman Emperor was born in 876.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Otto the Illustrious , Duke of Saxony and Count in South Thuringia and Hedwige , Princess of Bavaria. Henry I the Fowler's full titles were the Holy Roman Emperor, the Emperor of Germany, and the Duke of Saxony in 880.1

Henry I the Fowler ~ Holy Roman Emperor married Saint Mechtilde von Ringelheim, daughter of Dietrich von Ringelheim ~ Count of Saxony and Gisela of Lorraine, in 909.1,2,3,4,5 Henry was crowned the Emperor of Germany in 912.1,2 Henry was crowned the Holy Roman Emperor in 919.1,2 He died on 2 July 936 at Memleben, Saxony, Germany.1,2,3,4,5
