     Adelaide de Vermandois was born circa 915.1 She was the daughter of Herbert II ~ Comte de Vermandois et Troyes and Hildebrande of Neustria ~ Princess of the West Franks. Adelaide's name was also spelt Alix.2

Adelaide de Vermandois married Arnold I the Old ~ Comte de Flanders et Artois, son of Baldwin II the Bald ~ Comte de Flanders et Artois and Ælfthryth, in 934.1,2,3,4,5 Adelaide de Vermandois died in 960 at Bruges, Flanders, France (now Belgium).1,2
