     Henry J. Myers was born on 28 November 1865 at Carney, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was a twin of Joseph Lucas Myers.1,2,3 He was the son of Lucas Myers and Mary Huffman. Henry, age 4, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Luke and Mary Myers.4 Henry, age 16, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Luke and Mary Myers.5 According to the Federal Census in 1880, Henry was a farm laborer.5 He and Mary Elizabeth Geiger obtained a marriage license on 17 June 1895.6

Henry J. Myers, age 29, married Mary Elizabeth Geiger, age 22 , daughter of William Francis Geiger and Barbara A. Thomas, on 18 June 1895 at the Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
