     Michael J. Quinn was born in 1860 at Ireland.1,2,3 He was the son of Mark Quinn and Margaret Gorham. Michael J. Quinn was christened on 4 November 1860 at Lettermullan, County Galway, Ireland.3 Michael J. Quinn went by the nick-name of Mike. He immigrated before 1868 to the United States. Heappeared on the US Census of 1870 in the household of Mark Quinn and Margaret Gorham at Richland, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.4 Michael J. Quinnappeared on the US Census of 1880 in the household of Mark Quinn and Margaret Gorham at 63 Hill Street, Emlenton, Venango County, Pennsylvania.5 Michael was a laborer in 1880.5

Michael J. Quinn married Catherine L. Boyle, daughter of John Boyle and Alice Langan, in 1881.6 Michael J. Quinn died on 28 September 1889 at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from burns suffered when Furnace C at the Edgar Thompson works broke.1,2 He was buried on 30 September 1889 at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.2
