Catherine L. Boyle was born on 29 May 1862 at Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of John Boyle and Alice Langan. Catherine L. Boyle went by the nick-name of Katie. Sheappeared on the US Census of 1870 in the household of John Boyle and Alice Langan at Wilkins Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.5
Catherine L. Boyle married Michael J. Quinn, son of Mark Quinn and Margaret Gorham, in 1881.6 Catherine L. Boyle and John A. Lowe obtained a marriage license on 31 July 1895.7
Catherine L. Boyle, age 33, married John A. Lowe, age 36 , son of John Baptist Loew and Catherine Fleckenstein, on 1 August 1895 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.2,7
Catherine, age 37 years, and John, age 41 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 on 911 Halket Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 Catherine, age 47 years, and John, age 51 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at 735 Barker Avenue, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.8 Catherine L. Boyle died on 24 October 1918 at Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 56.4 She was buried at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in section B.9

Birth: There seems to be two competing years for Katie’s birth, 1858 and 1863. In looking at the 1860 US Census, it became clear that there are two Catherines. One born in 1858 and gone born in 1862. It is supposed the first died before 1862.
