Georgianna Huey was born on 4 March 1904 at Breakneck, Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of William Ernest Huey and Daisy Pearl Butt. Georgianna Huey was also known as Anna throughout her life. Georgianna, age 6, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, William Ernest and Daisy Pearl Huey.4 Anna, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at Moyle Road, Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, William Ernest and Daisy Pearl Huey.5 Her married name was Anna Brindle.
Georgianna Huey married Samuel Warren Dewy Brindle, son of John George Brindle and Ethel McMichael.1 Anna's obituary of 28 August 1935, reads:
Mrs. Anna Brindle, 31 years old, wife of Samuel Brindle, of 123 South Ninth street, West Side, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock In Concellsville State Hospital, St became violently ill about noon an. was rushed to the Hospital where her sudden death followed.
Mrs. Brindle was born at Breakneck, the daughter of William and Daisy Huey of Bowood. Her husband, her parents and one brother and one sister survive. Ernost Huey Bowood and Mrs. Grace Thorpe of Marion, Ohio.
A brief funeral service will be held at the Jate home at 12:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon followed by full service at the Breakneck Church of God at 1 o'clock. Rev. J. H. Bush, pastor. will officiate. Interment will be made 1n the Middle Churches Cemetery near Mount Pleasaat In charge of Funeral Director Charles C. Mitchell.
