     Ebenezer Hill was born on 31 December 1801 at Barre, Vermont.1,2,3 He was the son of Ebenezer Hill and Polly Gaveg.

Ebenezer Hill, age 26, married Ruth Wheeler, age 15 , daughter of Nathan Wheeler and Ruth Spear, on 30 March 1828 at Berlin, Vermont. Ebenezer, appeared on the US Census of 1830. The enumeration reads:

Heappeared on the US Census of 1860 in the household of Emerson Hill and Julia ______ at Berlin, Vermont.5 According to the Federal Census in 1860, Ebenezer was a farm laborer.5 He died on 25 August 1874 at Berlin, Vermont, at age 72.1,2 He was buried at West Berlin Cemetery, West Berlin, Vermont. Ebenezer's epitaph reads:
