Betsy (McNall) Parents
     Betsy McNall was born on 29 November 1808 at Ellington, Connecticut.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of Thomas McNall and Lucy Edgerton.

Betsy McNall, age 33, married Joseph Joel Parents on 12 October 1842 at Amherst, Massachusetts.8 Betsy, age 41 years, and Joseph appeared on the US Census of 1850 at Amherst, Massachusetts.9 Betsy, age 46 years, and Joseph, appeared on the Massachusetts State Census of 1855 at Pelham, Massachusetts.1 Betsy, age 61 years, appeared on the US Census of 1870 at Amherst, Massachusetts. She was keeping house for the Burnham family.10 Betsy, age 71 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Pelham, Massachusetts. She was a widow living alone.11 She died on 11 April 1887 at Amherst, Massachusetts, at age 78.2,12,13,8 She was buried at West Cemetery, Amherst, Massachusetts. Betsy's epitaph reads:
