     Mary Hackett was born on 1 July 1751 at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2 She was the daughter of Henry Hackett and Mary Clough. Mary and David Woodman filed marriage intentions on 28 September 1771 at North Yarmouth, Cumberland County, Maine; Both were from New Gloucester, Maine at the time of their filing.3

Mary Hackett, age 20, married David Woodman, age 23 , son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer, on 4 November 1771 at New Gloucester, Cumberland County, Maine.4,5,6

Mary Hackett died circa 1789 at New Gloucester, Cumberland County, Maine.6
