     David Woodman was born on 4 December 1747 at Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire.3,4,5,6,7,8,1,9,2 He was the son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer.1,2 David Woodman was christened on 28 February 1747/48 at the First Church of Kingston, Kingston, Colony of New Hampshire, by the Rev. Joseph Secomb.10 He and Mary Hackett filed marriage intentions on 28 September 1771 at North Yarmouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay (Maine). Both were from New Gloucester, Maine at the time of their filing.11

David Woodman, age 23, married Mary Hackett, age 20 , daughter of Henry Hackett and Mary Clough, on 4 November 1771 at New Gloucester, Maine.12,4,6 David was probably a Revolutionary Veteran.13 David's wife, Mary, died circa 1789.6 David was mentioned in the will of his father, Joshua Woodman on 27 January 1789 at Kingston, New Hampshire.14,6 David Woodman and an unknown person filed marriage intentions on 4 September 1790 at New Gloucester, Massachusetts (Maine).15,16

David Woodman, age 42, married Mercy Bradbury, daughter of Jacob Bradbury and Susanna Stubbs, on 5 October 1790 at Gray, Massachusetts (Maine). They were married by the Rev. Nathan Merill.17,4,6,18 In 1796, David Woodman was taxed 28¢ in Norway, Maine.13,19 David Woodman died on 6 November 1840 at Norway, Maine, at age 92.13,4,6,8,20 He was buried at Rustfield Cemetery, Norway, Maine. David's epitaph reads:

died Nov. 6,
1840:
Æ. 93 years.

Compeller's Notes:
Move: Woodman (1995) states he moved to Norwary, Maine in 1825, I belived he moved much earlier, as he was taxed in 1796 in Norway. Woodman (1995) is clearly incorrect.6,13,19
