     Mary Wheaton was born on 15 November 1806 at Townsend, Massachusetts.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Reuban Wheaton and Abigail Partridge. Mary and Joseph Delvey filed marriage intentions on 18 June 1831 at Warwick, Massachusetts.4

Mary Wheaton, age 24, married Joseph Delvey, age 28 , son of Jonathan Delvee and Hannah Johnson, on 31 August 1831 at Gill, Massachusetts.2,1,5,6,7,4 Mary Wheaton died on 16 October 1844 at Warwick, Massachusetts, at age 37 in childbirth.7,1,2,3,8,9,10,11 She was buried at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, Massachusetts. Mary's epitaph reads:
