Catherine Gardner, age 27, married Robert Garber Lindsay, age 24 , son of Frederick Lindsay and Catherine Stustman, on 1 March 1853 at Londonderry Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.3 Catherine, age 53 years, and Robert, age 51 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 on 60 Walnut Street, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.4 Catherine, age 73 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Blair County Alms House, Allegheny Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. She is listed as insane.1 She died in 1904.2 She was buried at Hollidaysburg Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in secton B, Lot 147.2,5

Death: There is a listing of the death of a Catherine Lindsey on 29 January 1904 in Philadelphia. He birth year is listed as 1825 in Philadelphia. She was a widowed housekeeper. A look at the 1870 Census for Philadelphia shows that this Catherine Lindsey was married to John Lindsey. She is not Catherine Gardner.
