     Jeremiah O'Kelley was born circa 1664 at Yarmouth, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of David O'Kelley and Jane Powell. He was a large land owner doing farming, fishing, and the construction of windmills.1

Jeremiah O'Kelley married Sarah Chase, daughter of John Chase and Elizabeth Baker, in 1688 at Yarmouth, Massachusetts.1,3,4,2,5 Jeremiah was granted land on 11 February 1691/92 at Yarmouth, Massachusetts, consisting of 28 acres.2 Jeremiah wrote his will on 8 January 1728. The date was recorded as 8 (11) 1727.1,6,2 He died on 30 August 1728 at Yarmouth, Massachusetts.1,3,7 He was buried at Quaker Cemetery, Dennis, Massachusetts.1 His estate was inventoried on 1 November 1728 and valued at £1,447.6,3 His will was proved on 23 December 1728 at Barnstable County, Massachusetts, The date was recorded as 8 (11) 1727.1,6,2
