     Sancha of Castile , Princess of Castile and Léon was born on 21 September 1154.1 She was the daughter of Alfonso VII ~ King of Castile and Léon and Richilde of Poland ~ Queen of Castile and Léon. She was the Princess of Castile, Léon, Galicia and he Asturias as well as later, the Queen of Aragon.1

Sancha of Castile , Princess of Castile and Léon, age 19, married Alfonso II , King of Aragon, age 16 , son of Raymond Berenguer IV , Marquis and Count of Barcelona and Petronilla of Aragon 29 Jun 1136, on 18 January 1174 at Zaragoza, Spain.1,2,3 Sancha of Castile , Princess of Castile and Léon died on 9 November 1208 at Villanueva de Sigena, Aragon, Spain, at age 54.1,2,3 She was buried at Royal Monastery of Santa María de Sigena, Villanueva de Sigena, Aragon, Spain.3
