     Mary of Blois ~ Princess of England and Countess of Mortain was born circa 1131.1,2 She was the daughter of Stephen of Blois ~ King of England and Matilda ~ Queen of England and Countess of Boulogne. Mary of Blois ~ Princess of England and Countess of Mortain was She became the Abbess of Romsey in Hamshire until 1160. She was then forcibly abducted from the convent and forced to marry.1

Mary of Blois ~ Princess of England and Countess of Mortain married Matthew of Alsace ~ Comte de Boulogne, son of Dietrich von Lothringen II , Count of Alsace and Flanders and Sybil of Anjou, in 1160.1,2,3 Mary of Blois ~ Princess of England and Countess of Mortain died on 25 July 1180.1,2
