     Jean-Baptiste Haché was born on 26 July 1750 at Port-LaJoie, Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.1,2 He was the son of Charles Haché dit Gallant and Geneviève Lavergne. He was one of the pioneers of Mont-Carmel, Prince Edward's Island, Canada.1

Jean-Baptiste Haché married Hélène Richard, daughter of Paul Richard dit Plate and Marie-Renée Boudrot, circa 1774.1,3,2

Jean-Baptiste Haché married Anne-Marie Goguen, daughter of Joseph Goguen and Anne Arsenault, circa 1810.3 Jean-Baptiste Haché died after 1812 at Mont-Carmel, Prince Edward Island, Canada.2
