     Alfonso VII ~ King of Castile and Léon was born in March 1105 at Kingdom of Castile.1,2,3 He was the son of Raymond of Burgundy and Ivrea ~ Count of Castile and Urraca la Temeraria ~ Infanta of Castile and León, Countess of Galicia. Alfonso VII's full titles were the King of Castile, Léon, Galicia, Toledo, Zaragoza, and the Asturisas.1

Alfonso VII ~ King of Castile and Léon married Berengaria of Barcelona, daughter of Raymond Berenger III el Grande ~ Marquis of Barcelona and Count of Provence and Dulce di Gievaudun, at Saldaña, Palencia, Castile and León, Spain.1,2 Alfonso was crowned the King of Castile and Léon in 1126.1

Alfonso VII ~ King of Castile and Léon, age 47, married Richilde of Poland ~ Queen of Castile and Léon, daughter of Wladislaw II ~ King of Poland and Agnes de Babenberg, in July 1152.1,2,4 Alfonso VII ~ King of Castile and Léon died on 21 August 1157 at La Fresneda, Aragon, Spain, at age 52.1,2 He was buried at Toledo, Castile–La Mancha, Spain.1
