     Otto I ~ Count of Guelders, Zutphen, Holland, and East Friesland was the son of Henry I ~ Count of Guelders and Zutphen and Agnes von Arnstein.

Otto I ~ Count of Guelders, Zutphen, Holland, and East Friesland married Richardis von Wittlesbach, daughter of Otto von Wittlesbach V ~ Duke of Bavaria and Agnes von Loos, before 1188.1 He went on the Third Crusade. In July 1214, he fought at the battle of Bouvines in the Imperial Army. Between 1218 and 1219, he went on a Crusade to Damietta.1 Otto I ~ Count of Guelders, Zutphen, Holland, and East Friesland died between 30 April 1227 and 24 September 1227.1
