Lambert I the Bearded , Count of Louvain and Mons married Gerberga of Lower Lorraine, daughter of Charles of Laon , Duke of Lower Lorraine and Bonne d'Ardennes, in 990.1,2,3 Lambert I the Bearded , Count of Louvain and Mons died on 12 September 1015 at near Florennes.1,2 He was buried at Collegiate Church of Saint Gertrude, Nivelles, Wallonia, France, now Belgium.1
