Gerberga was born circa 947.1 She was the daughter of Lambert ~ Comte de Chaions, Viscomte de Dijon et Autun and Adelais.
Gerberga married Adalbert II ~ King of Lombardy, Joint-King of Italy, son of Berenger II ~ King of Italy and Willa of Arles, in 956.2 Gerberga was crowned the Queen of Italy circa 958.1 Gerberga became, in 965, the margravine of Ivrea. She held this title until 970.1 Gerberga became, between 971 and 975, the Dutchess of Burgundy.1
Gerberga married Henry I the Great ~ Duc de Burgundy, son of Hugh Magnus the White ~ Duke of France and Normandy and Hedwig of Saxony, in 972. This marriage allowed Henry to rule the County of Nevers.1 Gerberga died between 11 December 986 and 991.2,1
