     Samuel Henry Brindle was born on 15 January 1862 at Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Phillip Kuhns Brindle and Sophia Blank. Samuel Henry Brindle was also known as Harry. Samuel, age 8, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Phillip Kuhns and Sophia Brindle.5 Samuel, age 18, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Paradise, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Phillip Kuhns and Sophia Brindle.6

Samuel Henry Brindle, age 26, married Laura Frances Morrison, age 18 , daughter of Malinda Anderson, on 21 August 1888 at 908 Broadway, Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, by the Rev. Isaac Bagley at his home.

Samuel Henry Brindle married Clara C. Watson, daughter of John C. Watson and Mary Jane Brown, in 1906.

Samuel, age 47 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Union Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.10 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Samuel was a railroad engineer.10 Samuel, age 57 years, and Clara, age 47 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on Coal Bluff Road, Union Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.11 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Samuel was a railroad engineer.11 He was retired on 1 February 1926.4 Samuel died on 24 April 1926 at home on 433 Jackson Street, Monongahela, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at age 64 from acute myocarditis.2,3,4 Samuel was buried on 27 April 1926 at Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, Washington County, Pennsylvania, in section A1, lot 49, grave 2.2,3
