Laura Frances Morrison was born on 25 April 1870 at Dawson, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Malinda Anderson.1 As of 21 August 1888,her married name was Brindle.
Laura Frances Morrison, age 18, married Samuel Henry Brindle, age 26 , son of Phillip Kuhns Brindle and Sophia Blank, on 21 August 1888 at 908 Broadway, Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, by the Rev. Isaac Bagley at his home
Laura, age 29 years, and Samuel Brindle, age 37 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Monongahela, Washington County, Pennsylvania.3 Laura died on 28 June 1906 at home on Church Street, Monongahela, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at age 36 from heart failure.1,2,6
Laura's obituary of 29 June 1906, reads:
Mrs. Laura Francis Brindle, wife of Harry Brindle, an engineer on the Pennsylvania Railroad, died suddenly of heart failure at her home on Church street, about one o'clock this morning. Mrs. Brindle had been a resident of this city for a several years and was well known. She is survived by her husband and five children, two of the children being invalids. The funeral will be held from the home Sunday af, ternoon at 2 o'clock, interment in the Monongahela cemetery.
