     Harriet Francelia Blanchard was born on 2 May 1848 at Whitingham, Vermont.2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Lyman William Blanchard and Angeline H. Goodell.1 Harriet Francelia Blanchard was also known as Hattie. Sheappeared on the US Census of 1850 in the household of Lyman William Blanchard and Angeline H. Goodell at Whitingham, Vermont.6 Harriet Francelia Blanchardappeared on the US Census of 1860 in the household of Lyman William Blanchard and Angeline H. Goodell at Whitingham, Vermont.7 Harriet Francelia Blanchard, age 38 years, appeared on the Massachusetts State Census of 1865 in the household of Lyman William Blanchard and Angeline H. Goodell at Williamsburg, Massachusetts.8

Harriet Francelia Blanchard, age 23, married Charles Frederick Parents, age 23 , son of Joseph Joel Parents and Betsy McNall, on 6 March 1872.5,1,10 Harriet, age 31 years, and Charles, age 31 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Amherst, Massachusetts.11 Harriet, age 51 years, and Charles, age 51 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 on 20 Belchertown Road, Amherst, Massachusetts.5 Harriet, age 61 years, and Charles, age 61 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on 20 Belchertown Road, Amherst, Massachusetts.12 According to the 1925 Amherst, Massachusetts, City Directory, Hattie, widow of Charles, lived on 20 Whitney Street.13 Harriet Francelia Blanchard died on 29 October 1928 at Springfield, Massachusetts, at age 80.2,14 She was buried at West Cemetery, Amherst, Massachusetts.2
