Frederick Moses Flanders
     Frederick Moses Flanders was born on 5 May 1828 at Cornville, Maine.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Moses Flanders and Roxana Webb. Frederick Moses Flanders and an unknown person filed marriage intentions on 28 October 1853 at Cornville, Maine.2

Frederick Moses Flanders, age 25, married Sarah A. Berry, age 23 , daughter of Eliphalet Berry and Mary P. Kimball, on 30 October 1853.5,6 Frederick, age 31 years, and Sarah, age 30 years, appeared on the US Census of 1860 at Palmyra, Maine. Frederick and Sarah were both listed as deaf and dumb.7,8 According to the Federal Census in 1860, Frederick was a shoemaker.7 He, age 41 years, appeared as head of household on the census of 1870 at Palmyra, Maine; Both Frederick and Sarah were listed as "Deaf and Dumb".9 According to the Federal Census in 1870, Frederick was a farmer.9 He, age 51 years, appeared as head of household on the census of 1880 at Palmyra, Maine.10 According to the Federal Census in 1880, Frederick was a farmer.10 He died on 30 May 1900 at Newport, Maine, at age 72 from cancar of the stomach at the home of his daughter, Jennie.1,11,4,12,13,14 Frederick's obituary was published on 7 June 1900.14 He was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, Maine.4,13
