     Judith Tuxbury was born on 13 February 1752 at South Hampton, New Hampshire.2,3,1,4,5 She was the daughter of Thomas Tuxbury and Mary Currier.1 Judith's name was also spelt Judith Tewksbury.6 She and Jedidiah Flanders filed marriage intentions on 30 December 1769 at Salisbury, Massachusetts.7,8

Judith Tuxbury, age 17, married Jedidiah Flanders, age 21 , son of Jedidiah Flanders and Eleanor Barnard, on 8 February 1770 at Salisbury, Massachusetts.9,10,11,8,12,7,3,13,14

Jan. 16, 1795, Jedidiah Flanders of Salisbury, Mass., yeoman, & Judith, my wife, grant land in Amesbury to Jonathan Bartlett of Newton, it being the share set off to Judith Flanders &Molly Collins out of the estate of the late Thomas Tuxbury (I :11).7


Judith and Jedidiahmoved to Cornville, Maine, in 1795.12,7,13,14 Her estate was probated on 14 March 1814.

Mch. 14, 1814, Jedidiah Flanders of Cornville, Me. & Judith, his wife, for $95 paid by Peter Teuksbury of South Hampton, yeoman, quit claim to right and title to our part of the estate of our honoured father, Thomas Teuksbury of South Hampton, deceased, Gentleman, which was set off to his widow, Sarah Teuksbury, as her dower or thirds of the estate in South Hampton.” Wit., by Thomas Flanders & John Lawrence.12,7
