Michel Haché dit Gallant was born in 1666 at Saint-Pierre Parish, Montdidier, Somme, Hauts-de-Franc, France.1,2 He was the son of Pierre Larché. The first mention of Michel Haché in Acadia is in the church register at Beaubassin dated 27 April 1682.1
