René Haché dit Gallant married Margarete Blanchard, daughter of Captain Oliver Blanchard and Catherine-Joséphe Amirault dite Mirau, in 1773 at New Brunswick, Canada.1,2,3 René was a shipbuilder in 1774.1 He died on 16 January 1815 at Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada, at age 70.1,2
